1. Escalate IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary
2. Responsible for managing backups
3. Diagnose and resolve technical issues
4. Provide desktop and server support
5. Respond and resolve server hosting issues
6. Support and maintain hosting Server/Desktops
7. Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
8. Install authorized software to laptops and desktops
9. Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops
10. Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops
11. Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops and laptops
12. Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained
13. Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software
14. Ensuring all software purchased licensing is recorded and maintained
15. Exchange server mailbox maintenance including archiving mailboxes
16. Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements
