System / Network Engineer

NCRI is looking for a System/Network Engineer for its Islamabad office.

Main Job Responsibilities:

Maintaining and upgrading IT networks and in house servers
Should have very good experience of routing and switching
Have sound knowledge of NGFW
Installing and integrating new hardware and applications
Providing tier 1 support to users based on the tickets assigned or on call.
Keeping an eye out for needed updates
Ensure network security and connectivity
Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput and latency) and test for weaknesses
Generate/Maintain system logs and proactively address the issues
Resolve problems reported by end user
Maintaining the IT equipment inventory
Define network policies and procedures
Specify system requirements and design solutions
Research and make recommendations on network administration
Data analysis
Data processing and generating reports
Attend webinars and conferences
Should be able to work in flexible hours on any assigned tasks.
Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices
Liaising with vendors and keeping relevant stakeholders up to date with developments.
