Candidate must meet the following pre-requisites:-

  2. Minimum - Graduate in Electronic Engineering / Telecom Engineering / IT or Computer Sciences from an Engineering University

Preferable – Masters in the same disciplines

  1. Experience:       
  2. Minimum 5-7 years of experience of working on a large scale projects during planning as well as execution stages.

Preferable – having worked in a Hotel IT Dept within Pakistan or outside would be a great plus point.

Should have worked in his last assignment at least on managerial position, on any large scale project, should have interacted with foreign consultants, should be able to hold meetings, conference calls and communicate on emails on design and technical matters.

Should be able to, but not limited to the following:-

  1. Review the design drawings submitted by the Consultants and advise management on the best option related to all aspects of IT & ICT in a hotel project.
  2. Should have the working knowledge of CCTV cameras, their types and deployment strategies.
  3. Should know various aspects of Security Control / Command & Control Room and deployment of electronic security equipment like walk through gates, scanning machines, parking management systems etc.

Job Description:

  1. Should have sufficient knowledge of the materials used in IT ICT of a 5 Star Hotel and   review   the materials submittals by the contractor.

  2. Should be able to review the BOQs submitted by the Consultant and contribute to value   design / value engineering along with other team members.

  3. Should be able to supervise the execution of IT ICT Design on the Project and ensure   quality.

  4. Should be able to brief the Hotel Operator during pre-opening stage and also become part   of the Operations Team (if so selected by the Operator).

Working Experience in:

IT & ICT (Passive Infrastructure, Active Infrastructure, Data Center, IDF rooms,   Administrative Network, Guest Network, Wi-Fi inclusive of Heat MAYX, IPTV, IP-PABX, Guest   room Management System, Parking Management System, Background Music Systems,   Music   zoning, local Music System, projectors, Digital Signage), Electronics Security inclusive   of    Security Walkthrough Gates, scanners, access controls, CCTV Cameras, Data Protection   and   Data Security, Key Management, Barriers, Security Control Rooms, BMS   Integration.

The Beginning of OGC: Orient appeared on the horizons of trading business of Pakistan in 1957.
