OT Manager

Al-Mustafa Hospital is looking for a skilled Operating Theatre (OT) Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the surgical theatre. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining a sterile and safe environment, managing theatre equipment, and coordinating activities during surgical procedures. This position demands a proactive, hands-on approach to support acute care operations, working closely with medical teams while strictly adhering to infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain the operation theatre to guarantee readiness for all surgical procedures. Oversee the maintenance and functionality of all theatre equipment within an acute care setting to ensure optimal performance. Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical operations by rigorously following infection control policies and procedures. Provide intraoperative equipment and technical support during surgeries, ensuring that all necessary medical and diagnostic supplies are available at all times. Prepare patients adequately for operative procedures and assist anesthetists in managing emergencies outside the OT room when required. Manage hazardous waste disposal in compliance with safety regulations and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and team members. Efficiently manage workload to meet operational demands and maintain a safe, healthy, and secure working environment for both staff and patients.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a Bachelor’s degree in OT Technology or Surgical Technology is essential. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience working as an OT Manager, demonstrating strong leadership and operational skills in a similar healthcare environment.
