- Ensure that the daily production targets are met efficiently according to the set monthly production plan.
- Ensure the production monitoring & control as a documented form. All concerned section in charge will provide daily production report to senior engineer.
- Study and improve the product quality for reduction in manufacturing faults & rework and report the quality standards to the management.
- Coordinate with concerned departments’ w.r.t. production concern
- Liaison with I&QC, maintenance, design and material procurement departments for coordinated team effort to eliminate any condition that does not comply with the documented quality system and ISO standards & for resolving any potential problem to ensure continuous improvement in QMS of switchgear department, including educating all involved personnel.
- Prepare and maintain fabrication record.
- Identify training needs of production personnel/workforce and conduct scheduled trainings through coordination with HR and IR & A department.
- Keeping in view the change in process/activity Risk Assessment (HIRAC) of all shops of SG will be updated.
- Concerned section in charge NCR record will be maintained on weekly basis and all NCR had closed with evidence.
- In any process skilled worker will inform section in charge before leaving the work station, then section in charge has decided who will assign another skilled worker on his work station.
- Ensure discipline, housekeeping and safe working environment of Switchgear workshops.
- Calculate product man-hours & control idle hours.
