About the role
The Project Officer will coordinate and oversee various aspects of a project throughout its lifecycle.His/her primary role is to ensure the successful completion of the project within the defined scope, time, and budget constraints.
About the Project:
The project aims to provide integrated services in health, nutrition, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and livelihood to the flood-affected communities of Umerkot and Khairpur Sindh-Pakistan.
The project idea is designed within the framework of localization to restore mentioned services and strengthen local capacities, taking a holistic approach and considering the protracted nature of the crisis situation. The staff will be based in their respective districts to implement the project activities.
Your impactful goals will include
- Establish a routine schedule of field visits to monitor overall project interventions, record-keeping collection of statistics, and tracking forms and Project indicators.
- Supervision and support of Project team to achieve the targets efficiently and effectively. (Work Planning, Conflict Resolution, Celebration of Achievements, etc.)
- Ensures stakeholders’ participation in project planning and implementation of the proposed activities.
- Organizes and conducts special events activities.
- Record Keeping (Documentation, Report, and Data Base).
- Planning execution and implementation in a friendly and enabling environment.
- Development of T0Rs for different trainings for Staff and Local community.
- Facilitation in VDC Trainings.
- Prepare and Disseminate IEC material within the local community.
- Facilitation in coordination meeting with different stakeholders in the district.
- Provides narrative, qualitative, and quantitative monitoring information/data to support monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to update Project Manager on project progress.
What we are looking for:
Education & Knowledge
Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
Work Experience
- 4 to 5 years of experience in Project Management.
- Experience of working in INGO/NGO will be preferred.

- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Note: Local Candidates will be preferred.
