• Managed Curriculum development to improve reading competencies of early grade students in Sindh

• Developed classroom observation and feedback mechanism tools for cohort 2 of the program.
• Authored 12 leveled readers developed to supplement reading curriculum.
• Supervised development and designing of stories as supplementary material for children in Grade 1 and 2.
• Proposed and administered revisions in reading material and teaching curriculum based on the data analysis of formative assessment.
• Conducted training of the guide teachers to mentor over 4000 teachers around classroom management, phonology and teaching pedagogy.

It is a highly selective (4% selection rate) nationwide movement of fresh graduates and young professionals who direct their individual potential to eliminate education inequity in Pakistan by committing two years to teach in under resourced government schools and carry the spirit of the movement in a wide array of fields.
• Planned and executed teacher’s capacity building and training program by training primary school teachers in Gizri Government School.
• Created and implemented an effective classroom management system based on individual investment leading to increased class participation and daily attendance (from 40% to 82%).
• Developed a distinctive Urdu literacy guide by linking phonics with Urdu Alphabets and different placement of Huroof-e-Tahaji in words to increase Urdu literacy (increased from 12% to 40% in 7 months).
• Co-founded “Anhad”, an across the border friendship program with Teach for India fellow, as a part of which over 2600 students will exchange letters with each other.
• Hosted ‘Take A Book Home’ library project and collected PKR 35,000 and 150 books for this purpose.
