I have the expertise in project cycle management, liaisoning with donor/ngo/local support organizations/ village organizations/ community noteables, getting the no objection certificates (NOCs)for project and each activity from the provincial and district government, coordination with security agencies, training curriculum design and its execution, community dialogues, motivational lectures, employers exploration for employment, information (counseling) centers establishment its operations, sulah councils formation, one window facilitation centers establishment, linkages the women embellishers with the input providers and buyers, public private partnership, staff mentoring coaching, value chains analysis, market surveys, reports writing, administration, logistics and financial affairs.
I have capacitated the 31 staff to run the counseling centers at their respective locations. I have established 4 state of the art counseling centers for youth and trained 8 persons as master trainers to run these centers. I have provided the counseling services to the 1160 youth. I have provided the behavioral change communication training to the 2454 youth including community members, community noteables, district elected members, school teachers & principles and district government officials. I have managed the 37 exposure visits of the school students. I have organized and managed the 23 peace & harmony seminars in the schools, colleges and community to promote peace, harmony and tolerance. I have distributed the 40 waste containers and 40,000 plants to the district government under the clean and green campaign. I have managed the all distribution of 1359 tool kits distribution to the trainees to start their own enterprises. I have closely worked with 157 local organizations under this project. I have developed 16 feasibility studies to install solar RO plants and acquired the contribution from the community. I have built a very resilient relation with the districts provincial government and districts local government. I have got the NOC of each activity before well in time to meet the security agencies requirements. I had the weekly meeting with the govt. social welfare, planning and development and industries department to show case our activities as per the submitted plan/s. I have managed and organized the quarterly round table meetings with all relevant stakeholders including high level government officials. I was responsible of monthly and quarterly reporting. I have developed number of success stories after our interventions. I have executed the numerous contracts with vendors, training provides and suppliers. I have developed a close coordination with my line managers, finance and admin departments to manage the events, meetings, workshops and seminars.
I was responsible for the overall management and implementation responsibilities of the project interventions in two districts simultaneously and provided leadership and guidance in all aspects throughout the project life. I have regularly visited the all districts of the project and ensured that all quality assurance procedures take place for all project activities. I have developed, implemented, and maintained project implementation plans. I ensured monitoring of project activities for timely and efficient implementation of agreed plans. I had completed the project tasks timely and according to outcomes/deliverables indicated in the project document.
I was responsible for the submission of monthly and quarterly plan, project progress as per donor requirement of activities for the project team. I always took the lead in preparing project plans and consolidated progress reports for HF and donor’s approval respectively. Being a technical lead of this project I gave technical advices to smooth and optimum function of the project activities. I have recruited the 40 professional staff in both districts, assigned their role and extended support to work in a team. I have overseen all aspects of the project including staffing, budgeting, program implementation and evaluation of staff performance. I participated in the field level project activities / trainings with a supervisory look and built a close liaison with Livestock departments and other related entities. I worked closely with Regional Office/s and Head Office to solve contractual issues, staff contracts, financial, procurement, project management and policy decision making and acquiring guidance from the concerned departments. I have led the skills based training projects funded by PSDF, NAVTTC, TEVTA and PPAF. I have managed the training of 2550 students on different trades. My key Achievements includes: Counseling and recruiting the trainees, Developing the training manuals and modules, Update the curriculum and ad new demanding skills knowledge, Recruit the trainers and resource persons, Conduct situational analysis with the employers to identify the most demanding trades and development of the curriculum outlines.
I have assisted and managed the training orientation sessions. I have also developed its materials including training schedule and work plan. I have implemented the donor funded training as per set norms & standards under the Skills Development Program at Lahore. I have assisted to monitor and manage the training of staff & volunteers to produce desired results and make efforts to develop a professional pool of visiting instructors and volunteers. Field team Leader on ’Market Survey and Value Chain Analysis’for Concern Worldwide;
CWW was implementing a socioeconomic development project with financial support of the Global Poverty Action Fund (GPAF) Impact grant of the Department for International Development (DFID), UK with major objective to contribute towards eradication of extreme poverty and hunger. The objective of the assignment was to identify the potential employable skills for enterprise development to enhance the income generation opportunities for the target communities.
A short term project funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to enhance the capacity / Skills of community for their sustainable livelihoods through asset transfers, enhance the capacity for employment and productive self-employment, enhance access to basic services, increased productivity and production of agriculture produce and strengthening the local capacity for agriculture and livestock service provision.
Under this project I had built close working relationship with the Govt. line departments. I have developed the consolidated activity plans of all four Districts in accordance with available resources and project execution plan, field activity action plans. I have worked to develop Farmer Field School training modules and manuals and identified key stakeholders, for collaboration, related to Agri products including but not limited to sectors, associations, academia, research, government organizations and private players. I have developed the above said sub-sectors, plan, design and implement the interventions in consultation with team members, and other stakeholders.
USAID Entrepreneurs Funded Project Dairy Value Chain Development “Improving Micro-Enterprises in Dairy”. I have successfully completed USAID funded project namely “Improving Micro Enterprises in Dairy” for the smallholder dairy farmers and micro entrepreneurs in Southern Punjab, Pakistan.
Under this project, I have recruited staff, managed and built the capacity of the project staff by assigning tasks to them and hold periodic (monthly) staff meetings to discuss the progress and issues. I have conducted market research, value chain assessment and produced the Value Chain Assessment report. I have developed SOPs, selection criteria, Modules and Manuals for trainings. I had efficiently achieved the very challenging targets within the time limits. I have regularly monitored, provided assistance and backstopping to the project staff to ensure successful implementation of the project activities. I have assisted Monitoring and evaluation to evaluate the progress of the project activities with a focus on quality and required targets of the activities and related financial status according to project plans. I have developed innovative and effective training materials for the trainings. I have delivered training and practical sessions on livestock management and village milk collection to the trainees. I have done budget forecasting, budget planning and ensured its achievement effectively and efficiently. I have identified different working partners like Milk processing companies (MPCs), veterinary services provider institutions, and Veterinary studies provider institutions and developed consensus over working relationship between the shape of MOC and MOU. We have established a cold chain comprised on 20 chillers and distributed Water Troughs to all beneficiaries. I represented and shared project activities with other agencies, facilitated Donor’s visits and different stakeholders in the project areas.
Under this assignment, I have provided on job trainings for participants of Marble shine (MS) and trained in different types of Marbles cutting polishing activities and helped the individuals to set up their own business. I have prepared proposals for different projects compatible with our core competencies and quotations for new projects. I identified the potential partners and submitted proposals on marble cutting and polishing training to PASDEC and PSDF. We developed Market Linkage, with Lahore’s 3Star, 4Star and 5Star hotels, schools and residential buildings like; Pearl Continental Hotel Lahore, Hotel One Lahore, Hotel One Faisalabad, Lahore Gymkhana, Royal Palm, Park Plaza Lahore, Beaconhouse School System Lahore and DHA Lahore. I identified the market for honey sale and established a link with buyers and sold Honey collected from our beneficiaries to different hotels and super store.
I have Recruited trainees for first ever batches for Hospitality Training and Culinary Art training in Lahore. I have Established close relationship with Pearl Continental Lahore management, SAMEDA and other NGOs like Aga Khan Foundation, which helped me to carry out successful trainings in managing and arranging trainers. I have delivered Lectures and Conducted situational analysis with the employersto find the most demanding trades and development of the curriculum outlines. I have formulated advertising plan for the trainings and also implemented which had been rated successful. I have conducted, managed and hosted events, e.g. certificate distributions ceremonies, Press Conferences and public orientation sessions. I had placed 13 graduated trainees out of 24 students in Park Plaza Hotel, Holiday Inn, Hotel One, Hardee’s restaurants, Pearl Continental Lahore and others.
I have done a field study and presented to management & based on I had developed the sale strategy particular to my area. I formulated targets and objectives and implemented strategic and tactical sales and marketing plans; oversee all necessary activities to fulfill strategic objectives. Penetrated in new market and introduced the product in 15 Tehsils or Districts of Pakistan especially (North area). I have also achieved outstanding growth rate of sale. I also initiated the procedure of product registration in Thailand. I was involved in presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses in hospital and pharmacists in the retail sector. I had adopted a consultative approach in working with clients.
I have established the new milk pockets and expanded the milk collection area by installing new chillers.
I worked with Village milk Collectors (VMC) task force and established VMCs; reactivated, acquired new, retained the milk suppliers and educated the farmers. I have surveyed the villages and compiled and analyzed the data and formulated the strategies to extend the services. Initiated and conducted regular trainings to enhance the skills and capacity of the staff. I proved to be low budget consuming territory. I have arranged and managed mega events for farmers and other visitors. I have ensured the milk quality and its testing procedure should be up to the standard. I have developed and implemented an optimum route plan logistically and reduced the milk losses or rejection. We also established and promote one stop shop for agriculture inputs to the farmers.
