We are seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a blend of front-end and back-end development skills, are keen to work with cutting-edge technologies, and have a strong desire to impact the world positively. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the core development of our platform, engage with a global community, and help shape the future of information accessibility.

This role is a remote job and you will interface directly with our team in the US and must be available for collaboration with the team in the evening Pakistan time.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions that meet both user needs and long-term organizational goals.
Work collaboratively with our team to integrate blockchain technologies into our platform to enhance information accessibility and security.
Develop both front-end and back-end components of our applications, ensuring a seamless, intuitive user experience.
Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and beyond, embracing agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
Contribute to the selection and integration of appropriate cloud services (AWS/GCP) to support infrastructure needs.
Implement persistence strategies that cross between the Crypto world leveraging IPFS, FIlecoin and Ethereum with traditional technologies such as SQL and nonSQL databases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience working in a software development role
3-4 years of relevant software development experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with solid experience in Node.js and ReactJS.
Demonstrated experience with both front-end and back-end development practices.
Familiarity with cloud service platforms, such as AWS or GCP, and their application in a development environment.
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative and efficient solutions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to collaborative problem solving and learning.
Prior work experience in a remote environment with a US company is desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience or a strong interest in blockchain technology and its applications.
Prior involvement in a startup or technology-driven business environment.
A portfolio of projects or contributions to open-source that demonstrates a passion for software development and technological innovation.
