Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Requirements:

BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field.
3 – 5 years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Functional knowledge of the following technologies: HTML, ASP.NET, C#, XML & React JS.
Deep knowledge of SDLC & STLC.
Knowledge of bug reporting life cycle.
Ability to understand and execute test cases.
Strong understanding of SQL and should have experience in writing SQL queries.
Sound knowledge of Automation testing.
Strong understanding of QA, QC, software QA methodologies, and tools.
Strong understanding of different testing types & techniques.
Should have worked for a team following Agile development methodologies, including Scrum.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the full QA testing lifecycle for small to mid-size projects that include execution of test cases to tracking and resolution of defects for changes.
Work closely with the QA team to drive testing efficiencies by providing inputs that will improve the overall QA process.
Develops, executes, and analyzes automated test results.
Design test plans and test cases for Regression and Functional tests.
Understands client usage of the software to develop appropriate automated test cases and acceptance test criteria.
Make recommendations, accept direction, monitor, and motivate the team to excellence.
Provide suggestions for improvement of QA efficiency.
In uncovering defects also works with the development team to help determine the root cause. Responsible for follow-up and updates of defects in Jira.
Perform all other related duties.
