a) Daily Responsibilities
b) Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory framework.
c) Drafting/Vetting legal documents/agreements in effective manner to mitigate all legal risks.
d) Coordinate with departments for the signing of the agreements, distribution, safe custody and for the administration and archival process of the agreements.
e) Smooth handling of regulatory matters including drafting/amending Rules/Regulations/SOPs, etc.,
f) Assist in dealing with legal counsels and brief them on court matters and obtaining opinions on various legal issues.
g) Assist in rendering internal legal opinion on various issues.
h) Assist in handling investor complaints - scrutiny, processing, follow up and arranging for conciliation meetings.
i) Assist in handling arbitration proceeding as per laws, Rules, Regulations and SOPs of the Exchange.
j) Assist in handling disciplinary proceeding as per laws, Rules, Regulations and SOPs of the Exchange.
k) Maintain a register of investor complaints/arbitration reference/rejection of reference.
l) Secretarial/administrative assistance to the Manager during the arbitration proceedings.
m) Publish the award on behalf of the arbitral tribunal.
n) Prepare periodical reports with respect to the legal function.
o) Assist in improving processes and work flows.
p) Assist in resolving queries of brokers/investors/regulatory authorities.
q) Maintaining database, records and MIS.
Any other responsibility which may be assigned by the Manager from time to time.
