- Ensure timely execution of manufacturing plan to meet delivery deadlines set by PPC.
- Ensure that all operations in his section conform to requirements set out in the Manufacturing and Quality (M&Q) Plan provided by EOM department.
- Allocate resources in his section in accordance with production plan
- Conduct daily meetings with section supervisor to discuss running issues, delay in activities and machine maintenance reports. Give further directives where required.
- Review machining backlogs and checklists on a daily basis and troubleshoot any issues being encountered.
- Highly Responsible for taking all technical decisions by keeping in loop head production, while coordinating with other departments (where necessary) for ensuring a smooth production operation.
- Perform root cause analysis of all manufacturing problems identified by QA department and take necessary actions to avoid future occurrences.
- Assist Head Production in developing and implementing Standard Operating procedures (SOP) related to all production activities
- Check that supervisors are ensuring that their staff is properly using PPEs, liaising with Administration & HSE department for safe practices at floor.
- Highly responsible for whole team coordination so that no delays, confusion and internal organizational politics occur
- Responsible to resolve conflicts, reduce or eliminate employees blame game in all sections under him so that organization achieves its goals in a successful manner
