- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential vulnerabilities and security threats.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security controls are in place throughout the organization's infrastructure and systems.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, investigate security breaches, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Perform security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Provide security awareness training to employees and promote a culture of security across the organization.
- Respond to security incidents, manage incident response activities, and lead incident recovery efforts.
- Conduct investigations and forensic analysis to determine the root cause of security incidents.
- Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Ensure compliance with relevant information security standards, regulations, and industry frameworks.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in information security.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption.
- Knowledge of network security, including VPN, VLANs, and network segmentation.
