PHP / Laravel Backend Developer

Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Laravel.
Write and maintain clean, well-written PHP code and create documentation conforming to standards.
Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve API performance problems.
Work collaboratively with others on a diverse team.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience with Laravel and API development.
Excellent knowledge of MVC and Object-Oriented PHP.
Must have hands-on experience with complex MySQL queries and database management.
Familiarity of relational databases and optimizing for performance
Experience developing and working with APIs.
Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. cookies, asset loading, caching).
Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment
Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and professionally
Strong understanding of infrastructure and scalability
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
Project planning and issue management
Strong time management and organizational capabilities
Bonus (have worked with): GraphQL, NodeJs, AWS, Shopify API
