Planning and monitoring the security arrangements for the protection of the network systems.
Identifying, monitoring, and defining the requirements of the overall security of the system.
Configuring and implementing intrusion detection systems and firewalls.
Will be responsible for troubleshooting network, voice and other systems in order to restore service.

Knowledge of enterprise-class IP based telecommunication systems and associated technologies including VoIP, Asterisk, Cisco, carrier circuits including PRI and SIP, and other related technologies.
Monitor and maintain the operation of wide telecommunication systems
Responsible for end user hardware troubleshooting, monitoring and maintenance.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, installs and configures End User Computing devices, peripheral equipment, network hardware, and software both remotely and onsite.
Networks wiring (Installing new drops, evaluating network runs, etc.).
Analyze and evaluate network performance and provide solutions to optimize traffic flows, security, and processes.
Creates and maintains network support and implementation handoff documentation to the Helpdesk.
Completes assigned tasks and projects in a self-directed manner.
Provide back-up support to other team members as needed.
