Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, mortgage brokers, and insurance partners.
  • Develop strategic partnerships to drive new business opportunities.

Sales & B2B Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mortgage and insurance sectors.
  • Drive B2B sales initiatives by engaging with potential clients and negotiating deals.

Business Development Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Client Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver tailored financial services solutions.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed sales proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress towards targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in business development within the mortgage or related financial services industry.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with mortgage, insurance, and financial services sectors.
  • Understanding of real estate and property market dynamics is an asset.

Communication:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Sales & Negotiation:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and relationship management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving sales targets.

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.

Team Collaboration:

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
