We are looking for energetic UI / UX Designer. You will work closely the web & mobile product team. The primary goal will be to design next generation of mobile and web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, content writers and engineers to deliver the most appropriate design to the functional requirements - there will be a variety of features and products.
- Create and optimize complex user flows given product requirements, and design appropriate UIs.
- Apply a mobile-first design philosophy to every design you undertake. There is no such thing as 'desktop-only' in today's world.
- Design desktop and mobile interfaces (web and apps) where form and function are woven together tightly.
- Incorporate UX theory and best practices into each and every item of UI design.
- Have a desire to learn what kind of code needs to be written to enable your design vision to come to life quicker. Engineering and design work so much better when both sides meet half way, as often as possible.
- Be able to rapidly prototype/ iterate, many times without engineering support.
- Be able to direct graphic designers to make ads and social media posts, videos in line with the overall design aesthetic we set.
- Stay abreast of the latest and greatest trends in the world of UX+UI design and know enough about them to share the knowledge methodically with colleagues, senior or junior.
- Become so good at some things, that you just can’t wait to train your colleagues on them.
- Be ready to work at the pace of a startup.
- Be great at communicating, particularly across different teams.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with designing mobile apps or websites, not just games. Productivity apps a plus, and enterprise apps a double plus.
- You've worked on products that have shipped/ gone live.
- You've worked in both digital and traditional design fields (like advertising)
- Experience with front end coding; you know how to take your design online, and make it perform as well.
