Salsoft is currently on a lookout for "IT Support Engineer" for its Lahore office.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all computers connected with Centralized Software Solution (CSS) are powered on. Report to be submitted on daily basis

2. Ensure correct system time and date on daily basis

3. Submit report for out of order computers and other related hardware to designated officer/Unit in charge under receipt at same day

4. Look after the LAN and ensure that LAN is working smoothly. Any intrusion, malware, spoofing will also be looked after by SE

5. Ensure smooth functioning of WAN/VPN along with necessary troubleshooting

6. Arrange basic computer training for office employees in consultation with local management

7. Submit progress Report to headquarters/unit Incharge on weekly basis

8. Responsible for installation of software both OS and application as and when required

9. Ensure confidentiality of official/classified information

10. Undertake any other responsibility assigned by the competent authority

PREFERRED SKILLS

1. Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Word.

2. Hardware Configuration & Driver Installation.

3. Network IP Configuration (WAN/VPN).

4. Installation of latest Operating System (Windows).

5. Quality and customer focus, phone skills, good verbal and written communication
