1. REPORTING FUNCTIONS
Manager Production will directly report to General Manager for all routine tasks.
2. JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to plan, organize and control grieg production and ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time within budget and to standard.
3. RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
-To manage the production of woven grey fabric on different weaving units.
-Frequent visits of weaving units where orders are placed.
-Oversee the grey fabric movement from weaving units to dyeing factories and warehouse.
-Ensure movement of yarn to weaving units in time.
-Dealing with weaving units regarding yarn and production issues.
-Reconciliation with weaving units of closed qualities.
-To keep an eye on availability of machines in Market.
- To maintain a list of units along with details of machinery available i.e. Dobby, 2colors, warping, sizing and packing etc.
- Follow up with QCs (Grey and processed fabrics).
-To check and control our QC Team in the field.
-Analysis of first meter of all qualities samples.
-Verification of Bilties from Transporters and timely submission to Finance & Accounts department.
-To provide yarn requirement sheet to procurement department.
-To crosscheck the inspected fabric by Inspector.
-To track attendance report to F&A department.
-To verify expenses of Inspectors occurred during duty and movement.
-To change/shift inspectors from one place/unit to another.
-To prepare weekly bottleneck report.
-To make reconciliation Report of Contract closing.
-To keep yarn testing parameters record.
-To make daily yarn / greige fabric Stock Report.
-To make PPDs of Conversion Contracts and review and adjust schedule where needed.
-Issuance and updating of Purchase Orders /Conversion Contracts.
