Senior PHP / WordPress Developer

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with 3-5 years of experience in PHP / WordPress technologies as the job requires we are looking for a potential candidate for Sahiwal Office. Other cities' candidates can apply if they are willing to move to Sahiwal. We are looking for a bright, energetic individuals who: Can work independently and can handle multiple projects Write clean, scalable code programming languages Test and deploy applications and systems. Must be an excellent programmer in WordPress Plugins / Themes / Actions, Hooks Filters PHP/MYSQL/MVC, and REST API-based Projects.

Required Skills:

• Experience working with simple and complex WordPress Plugins / Actions, Hooks Filters PHP/MYSQL/MVC, and REST API-based Projects.
• Experience in WordPress development Plugins, Themes, Add-ons, Hooks, and Filter-Based
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Experience in building user interfaces for websites and web applications
• Experience in designing and developing responsive design websites
• Ability to develop new Advance Leve WordPress plugins as per requirements.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as WordPress, CodeIgniter, Laravel, VUE JS, etc.)
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Knowledge of shopping carts e.g.: Magento, WooCommerce, OpenCart is Plus
• Plus Point if you have Experienced with CSS Pre-processors (SASS, LESS, etc.)
• Plus Point Experience in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JS, Angular JS, and JQuery. VUE JS, REACT BASIC.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of existing WordPress-based platforms
• Ensuring high performance and availability of the platforms at all times
• Management of all technical aspects of content management platforms
• Troubleshooting and debugging coding errors in WordPress themes and plugin
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality into WordPress themes and Plugins / Build ADDONS PLUGINS ,
• Formulating an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
• Use To With WordPress Actions, Hooks, Filters, REST API

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to write clean, solid, scalable code
• Knowledge of proficient understanding of web mark-up, especially HTML5, and CSS3
• Ability to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Understanding of client-side scripting, js frameworks, incl jquery
• Experience with setting up Varnish and cache layers
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, ajax
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Knowledge of testing across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Chrome DevTools
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial)

WordPress Required Skills:

•  A minimum 2-year experience in PHP programming, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience in PHP and OOP beneficial
• Extensive knowledge and experience in building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de-facto standard plugins.
• Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level:
• Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
• Creation of custom post types
• Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding standards
• Creation of clean, logical, well-documented, and reusable code
• Theme/Template integration
• Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial
• Experience creating multi-lingual websites Advantageous
• Knowledge and experience in web accessibility
