As an IT Business Analyst / Project Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
- Estimation and planning of the requirements analysis tasks
- Being the interface between business and technical stakeholders
- Responsible for delivery of the High Level Requirements (HLR) document
- Responsible for delivery of the Business Requirements Document (BRD) and maintaining the Requirements Catalogue
- Taking ownership of Requirements Management throughout the SDLC
- Responsible for delivery of the Business Functional Specification (BFS)
- When working on an agile project delivery, the BA is an integral member of the development team to ensure that the business requirements, related benefits, and acceptance criteria are fully understood by all.
- Responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.
As an IT Business Analyst your skills and experience will include:
- Proven experience in an IT Business Analyst/PM role
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) at all levels with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Ability to write unambiguous, verified requirements to a testable level (Functional and Non-Functional)
- Writing requirements using appropriate approaches such as use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
- Process modelling analysis and notation (As-is, To-be, workflows, user journeys using UML, BPMN, etc.)
- Knowledge of SDLC and experience of different software delivery methodologies.
Qualification
A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a field directly related to the IT , administrative, management or fiscal duties of this class
Experience
Two (2) years of experience in business process analysis, major computer system implementations, change management, and/or major analytical or research studies.
