We are seeking a skilled Backend Python Developer with strong expertise in API development, asynchronous programming, and AWS services. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with AIOboto3 and a proven ability to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and reports directly to a Senior Manager. The position is based in Hyderabad and follows a hybrid work model, with two days per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs using Python.
- Implement asynchronous programming patterns (async/await) to support high-concurrency applications.
- Integrate and manage AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB using AIOboto3 and Boto3.
- Optimize backend performance and scalability to meet evolving business requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development using Python.
- Proficiency in asynchronous programming with asyncio and async/await.
- Hands-on experience working with AIOboto3 and AWS SDKs.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Practical experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with asynchronous web frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures is an advantage.
