Solar Net Metering / Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Net Metering & Design Engineer to design rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems and handle the net metering application process. The ideal candidate will prepare system layouts, single-line diagrams, and ensure full compliance with utility and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design residential and commercial PV systems using software such as PVSyst, PVSOL, Helioscope, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
Create and review single-line diagrams, string plans, and complete system layouts
Prepare and submit net metering applications to local Distribution System Operators (DISCOs), including WAPDA, KE, and others
Ensure all designs comply with safety standards, electrical codes, and utility regulations
Stay updated with the latest NEPRA regulations and solar net metering policies
Support the preparation of technical documentation, customer proposals, and BOQs

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in solar PV design and net metering processes
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, components, and grid integration
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, PVSOL, SketchUp, Helioscope, and MS Office
Familiarity with DISCO net metering procedures and NEPRA regulations
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
