The Role: Senior Software Developer - JAVA
The Team: This position will lead small team of developers focused on managing and growing our enterprise data feed platform. The candidate must have demonstrable experience with Java and database technologies and leadership experience in the areas of software development. The role requires design, development, testing, and support of platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead/Guide/Mentor the 3+ members.
- Plan/manage tasks as per the release cycles.
- Design and Develop solutions to support key business needs.
- Engineer components and common services based on standard corporate development models, languages and tools.
- Produce system design documents and lead technical walkthroughs.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support and maintain production environments
- Coach and develop the team accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5+ years of strong experience in application development using oracle or Microsoft technologies
- Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Test-driven development.
- Strong command of essential technologies: T-SQL, Oracle PL/SQL Server
- Concepts of OOPs, Java
- Good experience with developing solutions involving relational database technologies on SQL Server and/or Oracle Platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps CICD pipeline
- Nice to have Spark, NiFi, Data Bricks and AWS/Azure
