Are you a motivated Accountant with the desire to progress your accountancy career with a UK-based firm of Accountants? We are currently looking for a well-rounded Manager to join our team and support the partners within the firm. This is a great opportunity to build on your existing experience and gain more experience within management reporting and the preparation of financial statements.
Duties:
Your primary duties will entail the following:
- Preparation of periodic management accounts
- Ensure the books of the company are kept updated on a routine basis. (Using Xero and Quickbooks).
- Preparation of UK VAT returns
- Preparation of Annual accounts
- Preparation of Monthly CIS return.
- Drafting UK tax computations.
- Processing payroll for the client (monthly/weekly).
- Supervising a junior member of staff and delegating work
- Discussing and resolving accounts queries with clients
- Performing account reconciliations and monitoring the customers’ account details
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 2/3 years' experience in a firm of UK Accountants or Pakistani firm with accounts preparation and bookkeeping
- ACCA Qualified/Finalist
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills
