Levi Strauss & Co., a leader in denim and apparel innovation since 1873, is looking for a motivated Store Manager to lead its retail operations in Karachi, Pakistan. This role demands a creative and passionate leader who can drive fashion-forward initiatives while respecting the brand’s rich heritage. Reporting directly to the District Manager, the Store Manager will be responsible for implementing retail strategies, managing store operations, and achieving financial growth while maintaining the brand’s reputation. Key Responsibilities
Guide the store team to meet and exceed financial targets through strategic decision-making and effective leadership. Collaborate closely with the District Manager to prioritize initiatives and manage budgets in line with company values. Develop and adjust store business strategies across all product categories, clearly communicating goals and monitoring daily sales and performance metrics.
Oversee training programs for new and existing employees, focusing on company culture, product knowledge, service excellence, loss prevention, and store policies. Use performance management tools such as annual reviews to set expectations, coach staff, and encourage engagement and talent development.
Lead recruitment, hiring, compensation, and termination processes within the store management structure. Ensure strict compliance with all Levi’s® Stores policies and procedures. Manage operational aspects including payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and inventory control, making adjustments based on sales data and business needs.
Coordinate floor changes, promotional events, and visual merchandising to optimize financial results while maintaining high standards of product presentation and store upkeep. Supervise store opening and closing procedures, including cash management and facility security.
Provide strong leadership by delegating tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and enforcing best practices. Maintain open communication with management to align on business strategies and foster a positive work environment. Create an engaging store atmosphere by modeling excellent service, coaching associates, and proactively resolving customer concerns in collaboration with the District Manager.
Maintain the store’s interior and exterior appearance and safety in partnership with corporate support teams. Train staff on new processes designed to enhance the customer experience and improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of five years of progressive retail leadership experience, including at least three years in a store management role. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential. Physical ability to perform job functions such as lifting up to 40 pounds, standing, walking, and climbing ladders is required, with reasonable accommodations available.
