- Creating and maintaining a diverse social media calendar as well as innovative themed campaigns
- Monitoring conversations and trends, communicating with followers, and responding to questions
- Tracking all metrics associated with social media engagement and growth, adjusting strategies as needed
- Reporting social media performance through analytics on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Monitoring social media audiences, establishing and updating lists of influencers, and engaging with them as appropriate
- Staying current with all social media industry developments and standard methodologies
- Reviewing new social media technologies and making recommendations regarding the potential benefits of joining
- Detailed knowledge of social media strategies, publishing tools, analytics tools, and social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube
- Hands-on experience in content creation and management, monitoring, listening, tracking, and reporting
- Ability to advise personnel on social media recommended practices
- Excellent knowledge of written English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to prioritize workload and solve problems quickly
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to work in, and actively contribute to, a collaborative team environment
