Review existing Azure environment architecture and provide recommendations if re-architect or changes is necessary for management review and approval
Work with ISP and internal infrastructure teams to implement Azure private peering ExpressRoute and network security group
Monitor Azure consumption to prevent over usage and unnecessary spending Provision Azure App applications and services
Provision and manage Azure cloud storage account
Assist with Virtual Machine provisioning, migration and configuration in Azure.
Work with IT Development teams on Azure Development tools, including and not limited to Service Bus, Logic Apps and Azure SQL, etc., and resolve Azure-related operational issues.
Design Disaster Recovery solution using Azure Site Recovery to streamline existing IT Systems Recovery process

Qualification & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency (CS, CE, CIS, IS, MIS, or engineering discipline) or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 10+ years overall IT industry experience
Deep and broad knowledge of cloud service provider capabilities and integration required; Knowledge of primary Azure services (Virtual Machines, Active Directory, Automation, Monitor, OMS)
Ability to work in a team environment and work under pressure. Knowledge of Office 365 cloud services is a plus
Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.
Experience with any of the following: O365, Azure, Azure Stack, Azure AD
Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
Experience building and supporting mission critical technology components with DR capabilities
Experience with multi-tier system and service design and development for large enterprises
Extensive, real-world experience designing technology components for enterprise solutions and defining solution architectures and reference architectures with a focus on cloud technologies
Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, DSC, Puppet, Chef, Salt, etc.
Experience with relational, graph and/or unstructured data technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, HD Insights, Hadoop, Cloudera, MongoDB, MySQL, Neo4j, Cassandra, Couchbase
Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, PERL, C++, etc.
Experience with data ingestion technologies such as Aspera, MoveIT, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Pentaho, Alteryx
Experience in distilling complex technical challenges to actionable decisions for stakeholders and guiding project teams by building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary.
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry trends and standards
