1.Conduct routine internal tests to ensure financial, managerial, and operating information is accurate, reliable, and timely;

2. Assist Manager in quality and continuous improvement in the organization’s control process by developing Audit programs for each SOP.

3. Ensure resources are acquired economically, used efficiently, and adequately protected;

4. Maintain a record of the job descriptions, and authorization limits etc, and periodic modifications therein, to verify authenticity of transactions;

5. Audit of JV’S & PJVs and all payment vouchers in pre-audit & post audit, ensuring:

a.Compliance with SOP’s of the company                                             

b.Compliance with tax laws applicable

c. Payments within due dates

d.Ledger reconciliations etc.

6.Audit of cotton payments;

7.  Audit of payments of salaries & wages, overtimes & other benefits

8.Audit of income tax Challan received from yarn and cotton waste buyers;

9.Audit of monthly bank reconciliation statements prepared by accounts;

10.Supervise physical verification of cash by audit officer at month end or even surprise count at any time during month;

11.Physical verification of stores and stock of cotton, yarn & waste & cash at mills;

12.At random verification of time office record during mills visit

13.Monthly aging analysis of debit balances

14.Assist finalization of monthly audit report

15.Work on special assignments given by Manager Internal Audit
