Assistant Manager Procurement - Packing Material

He must possess excellent technical knowledge of board & paper, corrugation, box making and printing process. He should be current with the market trends and maintain close liaison/ effective follow up with the vendors for ensuring bulk procurement of quality packing material as per standard. Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.

Job Description:

Projection, planning & ordering of packing material
Follow up of suppliers and ensure deliveries on time
Preparation of Monthly Packing Materials approval
Ensure packing receipts as per given timelines to minimize inventory carrying cost
Attending quality complaints and coordinate with suppliers
Coordination with Marketing, Stores, QC and all concerned
Development of new suppliers
Development of new packing materials
Working out cost of packing materials and strives to minimize packing material cost
