AWS SysOps Administrator

We are looking for experienced and motivated individual who has one year experience in managing Amazon services and multiple Amazon instances (EC2 and S3). The candidate should have experience in networking, backups and deployments and Linux servers as well. The individual will be involved in providing technical support to US based customers so good overlap time is expected.

Job Responsibilities

Evaluate and modify system's performance.
Regular upgrades of servers operating systems and apply security patches
Identify user needs.
Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
Install all network hardware and software and make needed upgrades and repairs.
Build skills for backup and performance tuning network platform.
Good understanding or proficiency in different languages.
A solid understanding of a wide variety of computing platforms.
Identifies network and hardware malfunctions and takes appropriate action to resolve issues ensuring data/system integrity.
Monitor the health of systems and adjust accordingly.
Ensure high availability of services.
