Should be familiar with the requirements of ISO standard and should manage production related documentation in compliance with the standard.
To keep track of labor, equipment and process efficiency through development and analysis of various reports.
To perform Production Planning, distribute targets and follow-up on results.
To ensure that effective work instructions are formulated and implemented properly on the shop floor.
To implement best manufacturing practices at production premises like Kaizen, 5S & Skill Matrix Charts etc.
To coordinate with Quality Control & Assurance department in case of quality issues during and after production.
To coordinate with Supply Chain department for assuring the timely availability of material and consumables.
To coordinate and facilitate calibration activity for various gauges and instruments used in production.
To facilitate the Production and QC/QA Team for initiation, logging, management & disposal of Non-Conforming Products.
To ensure that the production team is practicing Daily Preventive Maintenance, Inspection & Testing Instructions and Production Recording as specified.
To Conceptualize and design parts, components, gauges, fixtures, tools etc. (whenever required).
To make deliberate efforts for increasing process efficiency & suggest infrastructural changes to maximize the output.
Guide & supervise maintenance employees for breakdown maintenance with least downtime.
Planning & execution of preventive maintenance of production machines, utility equipment, dies and molds.
Arrange for calibration of machine mounted gauges, meters & devices.
Ensure continuous functioning of all factory equipment to gain optimum output.
Understanding of QMS ISO 9001 and ability to prepare & maintain all documentations related to machine maintenance:-
Master list of machines, enrollment of new machines, and removal of obsolete machines.
Breakdown maintenance record, maintain & verify at Production’s end.
Breakdown maintenance log, maintain at self-end, prioritize operations accordingly.
Preventive Maintenance Plan, Preparation Annual & Monthly Planning & Execution.
Cyclic Preventive Maintenance check sheets, Study / Analysis & preparation.
Machine mounted gauges list, enrollment of new equipment and removal of obsolete ones.
Gauges calibration plan, Preparation of Annual Plan, Liaison with calibration bodies and arrangement of calibration activity according to plan.
Ensure proper recording of daily preventive maintenance check sheets.
To identify, establish contracts & utilize outsourced maintenance resources for production and utility equipment whenever required.
To inform/ recommend addition/replacement or up gradation of machines to the Top Management.
To constantly work for keeping the maintenance cost down.
Any other task as advised by the Management

Communication Skills, Analytical skills, Pressure handling, Pro-e, Planning & Organizing Skills, Knowledge of products, processes & mech cum elect equipment, Command on usage of Designing Software like AutoCAD, Ability to handle professionals & labor effectively.
