We are looking for Java Developers responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
- Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency server-end applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Work closely with the Infrastructure, Development and Test Teams to implement the CI & CD solution.
CORE/KEY SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE AREAS:
- Proven hands-on Software Development experience on Spring Cloud
- Proven working experience in Java development
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Experience in the Spring Framework
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
- Experience in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud will be preferred
- Experience with test-driven development
- Working with Jenkins, Sonar will be preferred
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle especially Agile/Scrum
