As the Transport and Logistics Coordinator at The Pentagon Food Group, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the movement of goods, vehicles, and personnel to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics processes. You will a part of team professionals, coordinate logistics activities, and drive operational excellence.

Job Type: Full-Time

Time: 10:00PM-07:00PM (Monday-Friday)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Transport Management:

Oversee the scheduling and coordination of transportation services.
Ensure the timely delivery of goods while optimizing routes and resources.
Monitor vehicle maintenance and compliance with regulations.

2. Inventory and Warehouse Management:

Manage inventory levels and warehouse operations.
Ensure accurate stock control and timely order fulfilment.
Implement best practices for inventory optimization.

3. Vendor and Supplier Relations:

Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure transportation and logistics services.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing for favorable agreements.
Evaluate vendor performance and resolve issues.

4. Process Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvement within the transport and logistics operations.
Implement best practices, streamline processes, and recommend enhancements.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

5. Reporting and Analytics:

Analyze transport and logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Make data-driven recommendations for process enhancements.

6. Compliance and Safety:

Ensure that all transport and logistics activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Implement safety measures and conduct regular audits.
Address safety concerns and incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience in transport and logistics operations, with at least 1 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of transport, field operations, logistics principles, processes, and best practices.
Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
