Responsibilities

  • Maintaining records of financial transactions
  • Ensure legal requirements compliance
  • Producing regular financial statements and other reports for management
  • Preparing cash flow forecasts and assisting in budgeting
  • Paying supplier invoices
  • Assisting in the preparation of external financial statements
  • Managing internal and external financial matters of the office as well.
  • Managing the day to day accounting transactions
  • Reconciling all accounts
  • Preparing the monthly accounts
  • Payroll processing and other associated payroll task
  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
  • Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
  • Processing payment requests from each department (supply chain, admin, HR, Tax, Legal & others)
  • Ensuring the deduction of tax subject to income tax and sales tax withholding applicable rules.
  • Ensuring the recording of liability by posting Purchase/Service voucher in relevant supplier ledger of ERP.
  • Making payment sheets for approval purpose from higher management
  • Posting Payment vouchers in ERP as per approval.
  • Preparing cheques from relevant banks using digital banking portal / IBFT / manual Crossed cheques
  • Ensuring timely payments of utility bills / contractual payments till due date.
  • Making liaison with the seniors during External / Internal Audits and during
  • preparation of Management monthly accounts
  • Preparing monthly Bank Reconciliations with the ERP ledgers timely
  • Making adjusting entries in advance ledgers timely.
  • forecast the monthly budget

Requirements/ skills

  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
  • Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
  • Ethical behavior
  • Attention to detail
  • Punctual in submitting the payments
  • Punctual in attendance as well
  • Candidate must have residence in Lahore

Qualification:  Bachelors or Masters in Accounting or related field.

Experience: Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience or more.
