Write a variety of content for funding applications, including supporting documentation such as budget justifications, according to a recognized and approved style, logic, and policy of funding organizations.
Developing and writing grant proposals to foundations and other donor organizations, persuasively communicating the organization’s mission and programs.
Prepare well-written grant proposals that meet grantor standards and requirements.
Conduct research on foundations and corporations to evaluate prospects for corporate and foundation grants.
Providing writing support for major donor and individual contribution letters and acknowledgements.
Ensure timely submission of proposals and reports.
Monitor web sites and other sources for funding announcements and maintain a strong working knowledge of available funding opportunities.
Record and maintain data on proposal submissions and track annual numbers and funding amounts requested and awarded.
Support investigators in ensuring the timely completion of grant applications.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s Degree in public health, communications, scientific field, English or journalism or other applicable area of study
Minimum 4 years of experience, preferably in an academic, healthcare, or non-profit
setting, with notable responsibilities for technical writing and editing.
