Site Civil Engineer

Union Steel Industries (USI) has an immediate opening for an experienced Site Engineer (Civil) responsible for supervising and planning the construction sequences in a timely manner for an ongoing project.

Job Responsibilities:

Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.
Provide technical advice regarding design, construction and structural repairs to relevant personnel.
Inspect project site daily to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications.
Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labour to ensure timely procurement.
Liaise with the Project Head to update on construction progress.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards.

Qualifications/ Key Skills

BE/ BSc in Civil Engineering (PMP or equivalent certification will be an added advantage)
Min of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Proven working experience managing a construction site.
Excellent knowledge of design and visualisation software such as AutoCAD, Revit etc.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
