Computer Teacher

As a Computer Teacher for Class 6, 7, and 8, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students' understanding and proficiency in computer science concepts and skills. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering interactive lectures, and fostering a supportive learning environment conducive to student growth and development.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum aligned with educational standards and tailored to the needs and abilities of students in grades 6-8.
Deliver effective instruction using a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
Teach fundamental computer skills.
Foster problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities by challenging students with real-world computing tasks and projects.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, with clear expectations for behavior and participation.
Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student learning, address individual needs, and participate in school-wide initiatives.
Stay current with developments in computer science education, participate in professional development opportunities, and continuously refine teaching practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Prior teaching experience, preferably in a middle school setting.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
