Manager Catering

As a Catering Manager, you would be responsible for consulting with customers to determine their catering requirements, supervising catering staff, and coordinating the preparation and serving of food during events.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Catering Manager, you will have to:

1.Determine customer requirements and proposing catering options.

2.Guide the clients/customers while choosing catering options by using suggestive selling method.

3.Negotiate prices and prepare meticulous Service Level Agreements with the customers.

4. Liaise with chefs to plan menus for catering events.

5. Oversee food and service preparations of the events

6. Hire, train, and supervise catering staff, as well as scheduling employee shifts.

7. Liaise with customers, sales staff, chefs, and specialized catering equipment providers.

8.Monitor the availability of catering stock and supplies and ordering replenishments.

9.Stay ahead of catering trends to keep our services cutting-edge, identify new business opportunities, and promote competitive offerings.

10. Develop strategies to enter new markets and expand the customer base.

11. Ensure adherence to company and government’s health, safety, and hygiene policies when carrying out job operations.

12. Maintain accurate records of financial accounts, transactions, and other relevant administrative information

13. Maintain contact with customers to obtain client feedback on the quality of service received

14. Help resolve arising client complaints or staff issues to ensure a calm work environment and satisfied customer base.

15. Report the departmental KPIs to the concern director before the 5th day of every month.

16.Any other Ad-hoc responsibilities as and when assigned.

Job Specification: Bachelor's/Master Degree.
