About the role
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Head of Marketing to support our aggressive growth plans. As Head of Marketing, you’ll be passionate about understanding customer needs, motivations and behaviours. You will be responsible for all user marketing at Virtual Triage, from sign up through to retention, conversion and advocacy. You will build and manage the marketing team to nurture, engage and deepen relationships with our users, working across multiple channels including in-app, web, email, SMS and push. You will have accountability for our core KPIs.
What you’ll do
Design and set up the core strategies for our marketing performance
Deliver multiple strategies and initiatives in parallel, leveraging dynamic segmentation to ensure the right messages are sent to the right users at the right time
Build and lead a team of high-performing CRM managers, copywriters and content creators
Be the guardian of copy and content standards across all channels, working across copy and design to ensure all communications are simple, impactful and on-brand
Design ways to learn from our users that can also feed into wider marketing and product teams
Regularly track the performance of all channels, and the short and long-term impact they have on user conversion and retention, delivering regular updates and communicating back to the broader marketing team and senior management
Build out tools and processes to automate and deliver on our KPIs
Implement A/B tests across channels in order to continually refine our approach
Set up and oversee the customer support function
About you
At least 4 years of experience working in CRM, Product Launch or retention marketing preferably in a fast-paced app-based subscription service or Health Industry.
Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and strong, consistent retention rates through marketing tactics in high-growth businesses
Deep expertise using email and push as retention and growth channels - you will be expected to stay ahead of the curve across all channel innovations and developments in this area, as well as having a deep understanding of how channel delivery and optimisations have changed in recent years
Experience delivering complex automated strategies and segmentation
Obsessed with optimisation - you live and breathe campaign performance data and know what levers to pull when optimising a campaign against specific KPIs
Strong creative eye with the ability to think from the consumers' perspective and provide clear and articulate feedback that makes content perform better
Confident in setting and reviewing metrics and measurement frameworks
Experience leading cross-functional projects, working with engineers, designers, copywriters, marketers outside your team, and external partners
Hands-on approach with an agile mentality
Comfortable engaging with developers and taking responsibility for defining what you need to get the job done
Experience building constructive relationships with colleagues and partners
Self-motivated, scrappy, and you love getting your hands dirty
