Your typical day at work

HR & Admin/Facilities Manager will responsible for providing and implementing the various human resource/Admin functions of the company. The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, and Admin/facilities management services.

Job Description

    • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
    • Managing the recruitment and selection process.
    • Create team synergy, manage diversity and promote a high performance culture.
    • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
    • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource requirements.
    • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
    • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
    • Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Supervise all administrative and HR work
    • Implement best practice for maintaining high standards of maintenance and operations.
    • Provision of adequate office utilities, logistics arrangements, facilities maintenance, tackling all disciplinary issues with suitable action, conduct of timely admin related meetings, vendor management, issuing of necessary Orders, circulars & notices.
    • Maintenance of chronological records with segregation and grading of top priority correspondences, Classification of Files, Documentation, Archives etc.
    • Maintains administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
    • Responsible for day-to-day office management including liaising with the Finance and programs teams and the Operations Risk Advisor.
    • Facilitate implementation of appropriate change management and succession planning initiatives associated with organizational development activities.
    • Compare costs for various services and goods before choosing the best options for the facility.
    • Develop and encourage internal communication; create network and maintain good relationship within the company, adapting communication tools to each one; help the Managers in internal communication actions.
    • Should have a good knowledge of ISO Certifications.
    • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
    • Work closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the networks.
    • Monitor changing network technology and deliver a technology update to the executive team each quarter.
    • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
    • Preserve assets, information security and control structures
    • Families with ERP (examples are Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics etc.
    • Handle certain administrative tasks, such as preparing reports.

 

Requirement

    • 6-8 years’ work experience as a HR/Admin manager or similar role preferably the telecom and IT company.
    • BBA/MBA or MS degree in Human Resources or related field.
    • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
    • People oriented and results driven.
    • Experience of defining, implementing and managing HR policies and procedures, including appraisal systems, job descriptions etc.
    • Experience in using HR systems (examples are ERP, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics etc.)
    • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrable skills in database management and record keeping
    • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
    • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
