You’ll be a critical member of a small team working on new mobile application developments for iPhone and Android mobiles. You will have influence over the whole mobile program, from design to production. Your enthusiasm for developing an amazing mobile tool that is easy to use and interactive will be evident. You will be an experienced professional with examples of previously created mobile apps that you are proud to show us. Your personality is just as important as the technical skills. You need to have great communication skills and excellent verbal and written English. You will love finding simple solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse, design, and ship new features
· Fully responsible for iOS and Android mobile app development in the team
· Build and publish applications in app stores
· Implement new technologies to maximize application performance
Your Skills:
Android:
· Excellent knowledge in core Java
· Strong knowledge in RESTful web services and APIs
· Good Knowledge of Android SDK's
· Push Notifications & Toast
· Eclipse & ANT based build system
· Android Studio
iOS:
· Very good experience with Objective-C and iOS SDK
· Good working knowledge in Cocoa Touch
· Experience with memory management and caching mechanisms specific to mobile devices
· Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text Good
Also Essential:
· Integrate with backend services to make sure we are delivering a great mobile user experience that’s super-fast for end users
· Database knowledge (Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB, MySQL) and integration
· Experience of integrating Locations and Map API's
