Abdul Wahab & Co is seeking a motivated Customs Clearance Operations Executive specializing in import procedures to join our team at our office in Heaven Mall, Lahore. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh candidates who aspire to build a career in the import and logistics industry while acquiring hands-on experience in customs clearance and import operations.
Requirements
- Minimum Matric qualification (Intermediate will be preferred).
- Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, and internet).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced office environment.
- Candidates residing near the airport will be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with clients regarding shipment bookings, arrival schedules, and shipment status.
- Prepare, compile, and verify import documentation.
- Draft and prepare Goods Declarations (GD) for customs clearance and submit them through the customs system.
- Coordinate with consignees and freight forwarders for shipping documents, Delivery Order (DO) collection, and vehicle arrangements.
- Coordinate with transporters to ensure timely cargo pickup and delivery to the client's premises.
- Deliver import documents to airport staff and other relevant stakeholders as required.
- Verify shipment documents and monitor the processing of shipments received at the airport.
- Coordinate with airport teams to obtain import payment estimates and arrange cash or pay orders through the accounts department.
- Provide clients with final import documents and shipment updates after delivery.
- Upload and submit complete documentation to the company portal after job completion.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare daily operational reports.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
