Background

A national level NGO working since 1972 on Education, Advocacy, Health & Hygiene, Livelihoods, Disaster Risk Reduction. The NGO is implementing a project in Muzaffargarh and Tharparkar require services of:

District Coordinator (Male/Female).

The District Coordinator is expected to perform the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

·         Conduction of baseline survey and impact assessment of project activities

·         Conduction of project related field activates in Government Primary Schools

·         Ensure and make efforts for child rights implementation in project area

·         Organize hands on training for respective school teachers using interactive learning approaches

·         Conduct regular progress review and planning meeting at district level

·         Submission of monthly, quarterly & annual project reports, case studies and success stories to the Project Coordinator/Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.

·         Able to travel to relevant district project schools and other project areas.

·         Develop and maintain proactive, positive and professional relationships with the partner organizations, donors, key local officials, civil society groups, religious groups, etc. in the district;


·         Implement project activities in a timely manner ensuring good quality action and credible outcomes;

·         Provide technical support to respective district subject specialists/assistant subject specialists.

·         Record keeping of field level activities

·         Prepare reports and case studies on best practices

·         Any other assignment which is mandatory to achieve the objectives of the program

Qualification:

The following requirements for this position

·         Academic qualification: Master’s Degree/ M.Ed

·         Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in project implementation, training, operations, administration, or related functions
