The Junior Full Stack Developer is an entry-level developer who work on a variety of projects including building new features for existing products or creating a completely new application. This job assists with developing and managing applications and working with a team of developers to create high-quality and scalable software.
- Work with senior members of the development team on complex projects that require multiple steps in the software development process.
- Write and debug code to ensure that a product works as intended.
- Communicate with other developers on their team or across departments to share knowledge and coordinate work efforts.
- Analyse business requirements to create functional specifications that will be used for development.
- Participate in meetings with other members of the development team to discuss progress on projects and identify any issues that may arise.
- Test new features to ensure they function as intended.
- Create prototypes of new features to test feasibility before beginning work on the final product.
- Monitor performance of applications to ensure they are running efficiently and responding quickly to user input.
- Analyse data to identify problems or opportunities for improvement.
- Develop high-quality and scalable software solutions.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code.
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Cooperate with team members to achieve project goals.
- Understand the needs of the customers and develop solutions that meet their expectations.
- Adhere to best practices in software development.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in the industry.
- Assist senior developers in the implementation of complex features.
- Take ownership of small parts of the project and see them through to completion.
- Help troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.
- Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business
