The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for implementing creative and innovative solutions, using modern technologies and techniques inclusive of the MERN stack. This job works closely with product management, engineering, and other members of a globally geographically distributed team (US, UK, UAE) and other departments, to understand and clarify requirements, prepare proposals, and implement from a technically feasible perspective.
- Develop designs into high-quality and re-usable code.
- Optimise components for maximum performance across a vast array of mobile devices and browsers.
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
- Design client-side and server-side architecture.
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
- Write effective APIs.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
- Create security and data protection settings.
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
- Write technical documentation.
- Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.
- Develop new features for existing products or create entirely new products based on customer feedback.
- Communicate with clients and other team members throughout each phase of development to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Test code for security vulnerabilities and maintain high performance standards to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop prototypes and mock-ups of the application interface to ensure that the finished product meets users’ needs.
- Maintain the code base of an application by fixing bugs and updating features as needed.
- Work closely with designers to ensure that their designs can be implemented within technical constraints.
- Design and develop databases that can store large amounts of data efficiently, while ensuring security of stored data.
- Develop a full stack application from scratch or update existing applications as needed.
- Develop and maintain applications by writing new code and modifying existing code to fix bugs or add new features.
- Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.
