We are seeking a highly creative and talented video editor to join our team in Karachi as a full-time video editor.
- The ideal candidate must have experience in NLE editing using Adobe products, FCP, and DaVinci resolve.
- The job requires the editor to be a part of the creative storytelling process, working with the in-house producers to create a variety of short and long-form content for the OTT platform, including documentaries, multi-camera podcasts, music videos, promos, scripted and non-scripted content.
- The editor must have excellent communication skills, be able to participate in the creative process, work within tight deadlines, and remain creative under pressure.
- The responsibilities include editing high-quality video content, participating in the creative process, taking ownership of assignments, and maintaining a good follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in video editing, film production or a related field, proven experience working as a video editor, proficiency in NLE editing software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Final Cut and Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Desired experience includes graphics, music, and voice overs, podcasts to create professional grade content
- You will be well versed and highly skilled in the art of video-making; story-telling, set production, style of shoot, camera work and angles, editing, filtering, graphics and imagery, overlays and overall aesthetics of the film
- You must have an eye for design, and be able to work as part of a team.
- You will be a creative person with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Commercially aware and customer focused with the ability to use initiative and intuition
- Strong ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask to manage several projects simultaneously
- Positive attitude, self-aware and self-motivated
- Collaborative team player with an open mindset and an assertive communication style. Be able to coordinate with remote teams and be good at taking feedback and incorporating it into the edit.
- Conduct research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualize your findings.
