Procurement Officer

We require a Procurement Officer specialized in high-rise construction and development, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the sourcing and acquisition of materials, equipment, and services essential to our projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Collaborating with project managers and design teams to identify procurement needs.
Conducting market research to identify reputable suppliers and contractors.
Negotiating contracts and ensuring favorable terms and pricing.
Maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers and fostering new partnerships.
Reviewing and evaluating supplier performance regularly to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
Monitoring industry trends and innovations to optimize procurement strategies.
Managing procurement budgets and cost-control initiatives.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:
Proven experience as a Procurement Officer in the high-rise construction and development sector.
In-depth knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and services relevant to high-rise projects.
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of securing favorable contracts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple procurement processes simultaneously.
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
