Store Incharge

The Store Incharge will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of construction and hardware materials on-site. The role requires knowledge of construction materials, storekeeping procedures, inventory control, and coordination with procurement and project teams to ensure the timely availability of resources for smooth construction operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, ensuring quality and quantity as per purchase orders.
Store materials in designated locations with appropriate tagging and labeling.
Maintain accurate inventory records through manual registers and/or ERP systems.
Issue construction and hardware materials as per site requirements and approved requisitions.
Monitor stock levels and alert relevant departments for reordering when necessary.
Ensure proper stacking, storage, and handling to avoid damage or wastage.
Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile with system records.
Maintain clean, organized, and secure storage areas as per safety and compliance standards.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock and issue reports.
Coordinate with suppliers, site engineers, and the procurement team for material tracking and delivery follow-ups.
Assist in the disposal of scrap, unused, or obsolete items as per company policy.
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the store area.
