Academic Consultant | Master's & PhD (Business/Finance)

Proofreading By A UK PhD is an academic consulting firm based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, dedicated to supporting postgraduate students and researchers worldwide. The company specializes in assisting with research, thesis writing, and academic publications, ensuring clients achieve high-quality scholarly work. This remote position offers the opportunity to work closely with students and researchers to enhance their academic outputs and guide them through the publication process.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic consultation and research guidance to postgraduate students.
- Review, edit, and improve all five chapters of Master’s and PhD theses.
- Assist clients with research proposals, study design, data analysis, and manuscript writing.
- Guide clients in publishing articles in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) indexed journals.
- Ensure adherence to proper academic writing standards, referencing styles, and specific journal requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Must be the first author of at least one article published in a Scopus or Web of Science (WoS) indexed journal.
- Strong academic English writing and editing skills.
- Familiarity with academic journal submission and peer-review processes.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- First-author publications in Q1 or Q2 journals are highly advantageous.
- Experience with quantitative analysis tools such as IBM SPSS, SmartPLS, AMOS, Stata, or EViews.
- Experience with qualitative research methodologies using NVivo, ATLAS.ti, or thematic coding.
- Knowledge of programming or data analysis languages such as Python or R.
- Ability to review or write academic work in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
